The NCT Europe 2017 conference, workshops and exhibition will take place at the Congress Center Haus Oberallgäu (Soldatenheim) Richard-Wagner-Straße 14, 87527 in Sonthofen. The NCT Europe conference takes place in the indoor Plenary Ballroom of Haus Oberallgäu, while the indoor exhibition takes place in the foyer. The outdoor exhibition takes place in the parking and garden areas of Haus Oberallgäu, where the NCT Party and NCT Networking Reception will also be hosted. A live multinational CBRN-EOD exercise by the German, Austrian, Dutch and Swiss Armed Forces will take place at the training area in Bodelsberg. As it is prohibited to enter the terrain with your own vehicle, we have arranged bus transportation from the conference to the demonstration venue, which is the only allowed transportation in order to participate in the live exercise. Registration for the demonstration is mandatory and must be completed before 16 June via our registration page. ACCESS REQUIREMENT: bring your ID or passport. conference venue.

In keeping with the motto ‘when in Rome, do as the Romans do’, this year’s NCT Europe Party will be held Bavarian style. Let the first day of the conference sink in with a traditional Bavarian BBQ Dinner and network with colleagues from your industry whilst enjoying the locally brewed beer. The party will be set up for you in the Garden of the Soldatenheim conference venue.

IB Consultancy offers a storage facility in a semi-secured location (behind a locked door) in the Haus Oberallgäu basement during the night, however IB Consultancy takes no responsibilities for any loss or damage. Using the storage facility is entirely at your own risk. If your equipment is sensitive and/or expensive we suggest you find alternative storage facilities.

You are kindly advised to take into consideration the following Dress Code:

Live Exercise  – Uniform   /  Smart casual (remark: please keep in mind that the live exercise takes place at an outdoor venue)
Conference – Uniform / Business (remark: please keep in mind that it might be warm and that parts of the NCT Europe event take place outside)
NCT Party & BBQ Dinner – Smart casual or the traditional Bavarian garb Dirndl or Lederhosen

A standard exhibitor package includes the following items:

Since we have recently decided to cooperate with a different booth supplier, there have been some changes in the design of the booths. Please note that we no longer have shell scheme exhibition booths, which means that it is not possible to stick marketing materials such as posters to a wall panel. It is however possible to hang marketing material (up to 15 KG) in your booth. We are aware of the complications and will assist in accommodating your needs to the best of our ability. Please find below the specifics for the booth deisign:

Extra Delegates
In case you wish to attend the event with more than two delegates you can contact us to make the additional booking.

Access to VIP Room
Speakers, VIP and premium exhibitors (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) will have access to the VIP room during the conference hours. Exhibitors are entitled to bringing in 2 guests at a time.

The standard voltage in Germany is 220-240 Volts, while Type “C” Europlug or Type “E” and “F” Schuko sockets are used. A voltage converter and a plug adapter may be necessary, depending on your country of departure.

After the event, all of our speakers’ presentations will be uploaded under their individual profiles in PDF format in the NCT Europe App as well as in the program section, under each session. We will notify you when all presentations will be uploaded.

By Car: Car hire possibilities at the airport with Hertz, Avis, Europcar and Sixt. (Travel time: approx. 40 min)

By Bus: With Germany’s leading long-distance coach provider FlixBus you can reach Sonthofen within 1,25 hours. The Bus stop is located in front of the terminal.

By Train: It is possible to reach Sonthofen by train, however, due to the estimated travel time of more than 6h, this route is not recommended. If you decide to take the train, please find more  information for your journey here.

In case you require an invitation letter as a supporting document for your visa application, IB Consultancy will be able to provide you with one once your registration and payment are settled.
